Social media influencer Estee Williams is mourning the heartbreaking loss of her infant daughter, Estelle, after the baby passed away at just eight months old following months of severe medical complications.
On May 30, Williams shared an emotional tribute to her daughter on Instagram, posting a photo of herself holding Estelle alongside a simple but devastating message.
“Until we meet again, my sweet Estelle,” she wrote, adding an angel wings emoji.
According to information Williams later shared with People, Estelle died from multiple organ failure after spending much of her young life connected to life-support equipment and undergoing intensive medical treatment.

A Difficult Journey From Birth
Estelle was born in 2025 and was later diagnosed with ventricular septal defect (VSD), a congenital heart condition characterized by one or more holes in the wall separating the heart’s lower chambers.
Williams previously revealed that after an exhausting labor lasting several days, she and her midwife made the decision to transfer to a hospital, where Estelle was eventually delivered.
At first, everything appeared normal.
However, roughly a day and a half after birth, doctors became concerned when Estelle failed two oxygen saturation screenings and a heart murmur was detected. She was subsequently admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit for further testing.
An echocardiogram later revealed that Estelle had two ventricular septal defects—one large and one moderate in size.
Doctors informed the family that the larger defect measured approximately 11 millimeters and would likely require surgical intervention during infancy.
After four days in the hospital, Estelle was discharged, and the family began what Williams later described as their daughter’s heart-health journey.

Surgery Brings Hope
Estelle underwent open-heart surgery in November 2025, a procedure that doctors initially expected would require only a relatively short hospital stay.
Following the operation, Williams shared encouraging news, announcing that the surgery had been successful.
Doctors reportedly told the family that Estelle’s condition was among the most severe they had encountered. During surgery, physicians discovered that the defect was significantly larger than originally believed, measuring approximately 30 millimeters and requiring a patch nearly 3 centimeters in size.
Williams explained that while a healthy infant’s heart would typically be about the size of a walnut, Estelle’s had enlarged dramatically due to the strain of working overtime to keep her alive.
Despite the seriousness of her condition, Williams expressed gratitude that her daughter had been able to return home after birth and spend precious time with her family before surgery became necessary.

Unexpected Complications
Although the operation itself was deemed successful, Estelle’s recovery proved far more difficult than doctors anticipated.
Williams later revealed that the extensive patch used during surgery could not function exactly like a normal heart septum, leading to significant postoperative complications.
Just two weeks after her initial procedure, Estelle required a second heart surgery after developing complete heart block.
Her health continued to decline in the months that followed.
In December 2025, Estelle suffered cardiac arrest and was placed on life support.
Doctors informed the family that a heart transplant would likely be her only chance for survival.

A Complicated Fight for a Transplant
The road to obtaining a transplant became increasingly challenging.
In April, Williams shared that her daughter had been deemed ineligible for a donor heart due to serious medical complications, including sepsis and blood-clotting issues.
When Estelle’s condition later stabilized, she regained eligibility and the family once again hoped a transplant would become possible.
However, earlier this month, Williams revealed another devastating setback: Estelle had been removed from the transplant waiting list for a second time.
Despite the tireless efforts of doctors and her family, Estelle ultimately succumbed to complications related to her condition.
Remembering Estelle
Throughout her daughter’s medical journey, Williams openly documented both the victories and setbacks, sharing moments of hope, fear, and resilience with her followers.
Now, after months spent fighting for her daughter’s life, she is left mourning an unimaginable loss while honoring the memory of a child whose brief life touched thousands of people who followed her story.
Estelle’s battle highlighted the challenges faced by families navigating complex congenital heart conditions and the uncertainty that often accompanies pediatric transplant care.
As tributes continue to pour in from supporters, Williams’ message remains a heartbreaking farewell to the daughter she fought so hard to save.
“Until we meet again, my sweet Estelle.”
