At a hospital in Entre Ríos, Argentina, a man who was accompanying his wife after she gave birth was at the center of an unusual moment that went viral on social media, when he accompanied her to the bathroom and, upon seeing blood, fainted, hit his head, and had to be assisted by the medical staff, making him the patient instead of the new mom and her newborn baby.
The woman, who shared the video on her TikTok account, wrote alongside the images: “After the birth he was supposed to help me and the baby, but things happened. He ended up being the patient and me taking care of two babies”, and recounted that her partner told her he “greeted Saint Peter and came back” after fainting, while the images showed the man being treated on the floor of the room.
The woman in the video admitted that it made her laugh to see her partner fall and that she filmed him because she thought he was just going to come out of the bathroom pale and nothing more, but something she did not expect ended up happening, and she confessed: “Honestly, I got terribly scared. I thought he was done for there”, prompting laughs and comments among users who quickly made the unusual moment go viral.
