{"id":4019,"date":"2026-04-19T16:07:37","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T16:07:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thetwistzone.com\/?p=4019"},"modified":"2026-04-19T16:07:37","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T16:07:37","slug":"white-house-addresses-mystery-of-10-missing-or-dead-scientists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thetwistzone.com\/?p=4019","title":{"rendered":"White House addresses mystery of 10 missing or dead scientists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The White House is finally responding after 10 American scientists linked to UFO research were reported dead or missing in a chilling series of unexplained cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\">\n<div id=\"news-saga.com_responsive_1\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Since July 2023, a string of mysterious deaths and disappearances involving U.S. experts tied to advanced research has fueled claims that the cases could be connected.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-center code-block-2\">\n<h2 id=\"h-planned-not-to-be-found\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018Planned not to be found\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>At the center of the growing mystery is retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland, a 68-year-old former commander who was reportedly a \u201cgatekeeper\u201d for classified government information on unidentified flying objects (UFOs), also referred to as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\">\n<div id=\"news-saga.com_responsive_2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to the general\u2019s, Susan Wilkerson, McCasland vanished from their Albuquerque, New Mexico home on Feb. 27, 2026, without key personal items, leaving her to believe that he \u201cplanned not to be found.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy husband is missing. I have some indication that he must have planned not to be found,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=OBpLJuRSvFM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">she said<\/a>\u00a0in her 911 call to police. \u201cHe turned [phone] off and left it behind, which seems kind of deliberate.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-7\">\n<div id=\"news-saga.com_responsive_3\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>McCasland reportedly left home \u201con foot,\u201d with only a pair of boots and a .38-caliber revolver, and his wife told dispatch that he struggled with memory loss and anxiety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther than saying if his brain body keeps deteriorating, he didn\u2019t want to live like that. But it seemed to me that was just a man, \u2018I hate how this is going\u2019 kind of thing,\u201d Wilkerson said.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-disappearances-tied-to-advanced-research\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Disappearances tied to advanced research?<\/h2>\n<p>McCasland, who directed some of the Pentagon\u2019s most advanced aerospace research, previously worked at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, a facility that has long been linked to rumors surrounding extraterrestrial materials connected to the Roswell incident, despite repeated denials from the U.S. Air Force, according to\u00a0CNN.<\/p>\n<p>His disappearance added to a growing list of experts tied to advanced research, including materials scientist Monica Jacinto Reza, whose work was funded through programs overseen by McCasland.<\/p>\n<p>Reza, 60, disappeared during a hiking trip in California in June 2025. Known professionally under the surname Jacinto, she served as Director of Materials Processing at NASA\u2019s Jet Propulsion Laboratory,\u00a0Newsweek\u00a0reports. Her research focused on advanced metal alloys used in rocket propulsion systems.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-they-knew-a-lot\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">They \u2018knew a lot\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Several others linked to major research institutions have also been included in reports examining the unusual pattern, including Los Alamos National Laboratory employees Melissa Caslas and Anthony Chavez.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0deaths\u00a0of Michael David Hicks and Frank Maiwald Research \u2013 both scientists at NASA\u2019s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, MIT\u2019s Nuno Loureiro, Caltech astronomer Carl Grillmair, and Novartis biologist Jason Thomas- have also drawn attention, as each had ties to advanced scientific fields connected to national security or aerospace development.<\/p>\n<p>Observers following the cases have noted overlapping professional connections among several of the individuals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most striking thing for me is Monica Reza and Gen. McCasland. I mean, Monica Reza worked closely with Gen. McCasland, and she disappeared under extremely, extremely disturbing and mysterious circumstances,\u201d podcaster Lauren Conlin told\u00a0NewsNation.<\/p>\n<p>Conlin added, \u201cShe knew a lot. Gen. McCasland knew a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-gatekeeper-in-ufo-community\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2018Gatekeeper\u2019 in UFO community<\/h2>\n<p>McCasland disappeared shortly after President Donald Trump announced on\u00a0social media\u00a0that he was directing federal agencies, including the Pentagon, to release government records related to UFOs and extraterrestrial research.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a man with some of the most sensitive secrets of the United States in his head,\u201d he added of McCasland, who, according to\u00a0The New York Post,\u00a0was known as the \u201cgatekeeper\u201d and a \u201cparticipant\u201d in the UFO community.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-white-house-responds\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">White House responds<\/h2>\n<p>As public interest surrounding the cases continues to grow, questions have now reached the White House briefing room.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>\u201cThere are now 10 American scientists who have either gone missing or died since mid 2024. They all reportedly had access to classified nuclear or aerospace material. Is anybody investigating this to see if these things are connected?\u201d\u00a0Doocy asked.<\/p>\n<p>Leavitt responded cautiously, indicating she had not yet received a full briefing on the matter but acknowledged the seriousness of the reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve seen the report, Peter. I haven\u2019t spoken to our relevant agencies about it. I will certainly do that, and we\u2019ll get you an answer,\u201d Leavitt replied. \u201cIf true, of course, that\u2019s definitely something I think this government administration would deem work worth looking into.
