At ages 108 and 107, they also hold the record for the highest combined age of a married couple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Married in 1942 during World War II, they built a life together through decades of change, raising three children and later welcoming grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Their family says their commitment to one another never wavered, and their long marriage has become an inspiration to generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When asked for the secret to such a long and happy marriage, Lyle\u2019s answer was simple: \u201cLove, love, love.\u201d<br>The couple credits their lasting bond to genuine affection, mutual support, and enjoying life\u2019s simple pleasures together.
