He also happens to be covered in over 240 tattoos, including several on his face. His body art, which includes the names of his children and his daughter\u2019s lips, is his chosen form of self-expression. But instead of admiration, Richard often receives harsh judgment from strangers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt became an addiction,\u201d Richard explained. \u201cI started with my legs and worked my way up.\u201d Now, with 85% of his body tattooed, he\u2019s aiming for full coverage within the next four years. \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s the pain or the artwork, but it\u2019s fascinating,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advertisement<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite his involvement in every aspect of his children\u2019s lives\u2014including PTA meetings and school events\u2014his appearance has drawn unwanted attention. Some of his kids\u2019 classmates have even found him&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/viralstrange.com\/10-reasons-strong-women-are-often-viewed-as-intimidating-by-men\/\">intimidating<\/a>. His daughter, however, is quick to defend him: \u201cThey say he\u2019s scary, and I tell them, \u2018No, my dad\u2019s not scary\u2014he\u2019s just really good with tattoos.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even his wife Marita admits she initially misjudged him. \u201cI was scared at first and judged him based on his looks. But once I got to know him, I realized he\u2019s incredibly kind and loving.\u201d Marita, who had three children from previous relationships, says Richard stepped in and embraced them as his own. \u201cHe\u2019s more than a real father to them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She frequently shares their family life online, posting photos and videos that showcase Richard\u2019s loving nature. Still, not everyone sees past his tattoos. One comment read, \u201cI\u2019m not against tattoos, but honestly, does he really need them on his face?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advertisement<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Others, however, rally in his defense. \u201cHe likes his face tattoos. He\u2019s a good father. Let him live,\u201d one supporter wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Richard is unfazed by the hate. \u201cIf someone makes negative comments, it says more about them than me,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019re happy, our kids are happy, and that\u2019s what really matters.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He adds, \u201cHaving&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/viralstrange.com\/tv-star-claps-back-at-trolls-over-her-maori-face-tattoo\/\">tattoos<\/a>&nbsp;doesn\u2019t make me a bad father\u2014it gives my kids a broader view of life.
