{"id":18450,"date":"2026-06-24T12:44:04","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T12:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thetwistzone.com\/?p=18450"},"modified":"2026-06-24T12:44:05","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T12:44:05","slug":"hilton-would-be-honored-to-have-pratt-join-his-ca-gov-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thetwistzone.com\/?p=18450","title":{"rendered":"Hilton \u2018Would Be Honored\u2019 to Have Pratt Join His CA Gov Team"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton announced that Spencer Pratt will have a position in his governor\u2019s office following the conclusion of Pratt\u2019s mayoral campaign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The former Fox News commentator appeared on the conservative news network earlier Monday and informed Martha MacCallum that he admired the vigor that the reality star-turned-politician contributed to Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI would be honored to have him in any kind of role,\u201d Hilton said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI haven\u2019t spoken to him since the election results, but of course, he made a huge impact,\u201d Hilton added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hilton expressed a desire to have Pratt appointed to a position addressing issues he advocated for, such as homelessness and fire safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hilton, endorsed by President Donald Trump, has progressed to the gubernatorial general election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He will confront Democratic candidate and former California Attorney General Xavier Becerra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Democratic candidates divided the votes among themselves, enabling Hilton to become a leading contender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">California conducts nonpartisan primary elections. This year, Californians will have the option to select between a Republican and a Democrat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hilton expressed regret regarding the nonpartisan electoral system, asserting that it diminishes options for Californians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c[Pratt] gave hope in Los Angeles,\u201d Hilton added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI actually think it\u2019s a travesty that we have this top-two system, which meant that in L.A. there\u2019s not the same chance to vote for change as we\u2019re now going to have statewide,\u201d Hilton said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pratt was iced out of the L.A. mayoral election by progressive candidate Councilmember Nithya Raman on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raman will contend against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass in the general election this November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton announced that Spencer Pratt will have a position in his governor\u2019s office following the conclusion of Pratt\u2019s mayoral campaign.
